Framework for modelling post-earthquake functional recovery of buildings

Earthquakes are one of the most destructive natural disasters with devastating consequences on people and their supporting infrastructure. To alleviate earthquake consequences, recovery process building systems, essential for providing continued operation, should be considered during design building. This study presents a novel, probabilistic, building-level framework modeling evaluating entire process, expressed by duration path functional recovery. The proposed consists three novel integrated models evaluation building's 1) post-earthquake functionality, 2) mobilization time, 3) repair time. It is in line probabilistic PBEE methodology, it utilizes FEMA P-58 damage assessment results to evaluate process.
